Hi, friend! It’s Chrissy from Teepee Girl, and I am so excited to share these quote printables featuring President Gordon B. Hinckley! President Hinckley was truly an optimist. I remember listening to his general conference talks and feeling so much hope and peace, despite the conditions of the world. And I still feel the same when I read his words. “Be believing. Be happy. Don’t get discouraged. Things will work out.” . President Hinckley Quote Printables  We are studying President Hinckley’s… Read more »

February 2017 Visiting Teaching Printable

I can’t believe February is halfway order and I am just now getting my February 2017 Visiting Teaching Idea up! At the beginning of the month my family and I traveled to Utah so I could attend a blog conference (which was so fun). This month has also been full of sick children, basketball (4 nights a week, ugh), our 13th Anniversary (woohoo!), Valentine’s Day, school (for me), and all kinds of other stuff. I almost didn’t post an idea, but… Read more »

January 2017 LDS Visiting Teaching Idea

I am so excited to share my January 2017 Visiting Teaching Printables and Idea with you today. I have been thinking about this month’s message, but didn’t have an idea of what to do. Today I read over the message again, and finally had the perfect idea. We have a huge snowstorm going on in Idaho right now, so big that they have cancelled church for us tomorrow. Before the snow showed up, I decided I’d better run to the grocery store and… Read more »

Christmas Service Activity

I would have to say that my favorite holiday is Christmas, and the reason I love it so much is not because of the wonderful music, or the delicious treats, but the spirit of giving that fills the air during this time of year. This last year, my family started delivering treats to friends and neighbors each Sunday afternoon. My children loved helping me bake up some delicious treats, and then choosing families to deliver them to. A few months… Read more »

The Family is Ordained of God

It’s October! We won’t discuss how close Christmas is…I’ll just jump right in to this month’s cute Visiting Teaching idea. 🙂 This month’s message is once again centered around family, and, as always, it is such a wonderful message. I usually awhile narrowing down what I am going to share for my idea, and this month wasn’t any different. At first I was going to share something about the family being the central ‘piece’ of Heavenly Father’s plan (attached to Reese’s… Read more »

Parenthood is a Sacred Duty

The September 2016 Visiting Teaching message focuses on Parenthood. After reading over the message, and then digging a little deeper and reading the talks/articles that the quotes were selected from, I decided to create a ‘happy home’ theme idea for my Visiting Teaching Printables this month. I think they turned out pretty cute! What do you think? I absolutely LOVED the quote from President Monson: “Give your child a compliment and a hug; say, ‘I love you’ more; always express your… Read more »

12 Weeks to a better relationship with Jesus Christ

What kind of relationship do you have with your Father in Heaven, and your Savior, Jesus Christ? A few weeks ago I talked about this particular question on a Facebook Live video. I was discussing and sharing teaching tips for Elder Renlund’s talk, “That I Might Draw All Men unto Me”. Before my video, my husband and I studied and discussed this talk and thought that the main topic of his talk was on our relationship with Jesus Christ and… Read more »

July 2016 Visiting Teaching Ideas

This month’s Visiting Teaching message is such a great one: ‘Our Potential for Parenthood’. Have you read the message? What was your favorite part of it? As I read the message I noticed the word ‘JOY’ in one of the quotes. Being a Mother may be stressful and times, but it brings so much ‘JOY’ into my life, so I thought some yummy Almond Joy candy bars would be the perfect treat for this month…and some cute quote and scripture… Read more »
