Hi, friend! It’s Chrissy from Teepee Girl and I am so excited to share this free Article of Faith Bingo game with you! Bingo is one of our favorite games. It’s easy, fun, and simple enough that my older kids can play it by themselves. My oldest two girls are in Activity Days and they are trying to learn the Articles of Faith. I thought it would be so fun to make an Article of Faith Bingo game to help them… Read more »

12 Weeks to a better relationship with Jesus Christ

What kind of relationship do you have with your Father in Heaven, and your Savior, Jesus Christ? A few weeks ago I talked about this particular question on a Facebook Live video. I was discussing and sharing teaching tips for Elder Renlund’s talk, “That I Might Draw All Men unto Me”. Before my video, my husband and I studied and discussed this talk and thought that the main topic of his talk was on our relationship with Jesus Christ and… Read more »

LDS Mini Word Search Booklet

Several weeks ago, as we were sitting in Sacrament meeting, my son pulled out a word search book and began ‘searching’. He turned to me and asked if I would help him find the words. As we sat there searching for words, I had an idea! If my son enjoys word searches, and like to do them at church, why  not create some LDS themed word searches for him and my other kiddos to enjoy?!? And that is how my… Read more »

Did you enjoy General Conference? We were able to attend the Saturday morning session. I always enjoy being able to attend a live session of General Conference. There’s such a special spirit there. This time we got to our seats early and were there when President Monson entered. If you have never been able to attend a session put it on your to-do list. As you are sitting there waiting for General Conference you can hear the hum of the… Read more »

General Conference Quote Jar

A couple weeks ago I saw an idea for an ‘LDS General Conference Quote Jar’. I really liked the idea, and it was similar to another idea that I found a few years ago called ‘Conference Preserves’ that I shared about here. I LOVE the idea of writing/typing your favorite quotes and placing them in a jar to read over the next 6 months. Each day for the next six months, pull a quote from the jar and ponder what it teaches. Keep a journal… Read more »

LDS General Conference

Two weeks ago my husband and I studied Elder James Martino’s talk, “Turn to Him and Answers Will Come.” It is a wonderful talk from the October 2015 General Conference, and is probably one of my favorites…so far. This last week I studied President Uchtdorf’s talk, “It Works Wonderfully” another amazing talk. After reading and studying both of these talks, I felt the need to take a look at my life and evaluate it and take a personal or spiritual inventory of sorts. What… Read more »

There has been quite a bit of talk about keeping the Sabbath day holy. In August I had the opportunity to attend BYU’s Education Week. While there, I attended a wonderful class that was taught by Lani O. Hilton. I was only able to attend one day, but the day I attended was focused on the Sabbath Day. Since then, I have read several talks and articles concerning the Sabbath Day. Today I am going to share some things I… Read more »
