General Conference Study Sheets

I have this amazing friend, Danielle. Each week she is stuck in the car with me for 2 hours as we drive to and from our weekly ‘Gathering’ for Pathway (haven’t heard of Pathway, check it out HERE!). For two hours we talk about all kinds of things. A few weeks ago she shared something with me that her Religion teacher shared with her, and she told me I needed to make a printable. Her teacher had shared a great system… Read more »

LDS YW Personal Progress Rainbow

A few years ago I served as the Personal Progress Advisor in our ward. I loved coming up with ideas to encourage the Young Women to work on their Personal Progress. I have been released from that calling for quite some time, but I still like to come up with fun ideas to get Young Women to work on their Personal Progress. This ‘YW Personal Progress Rainbow’ idea has been an idea that I have had in my mind for a long… Read more »

LDS Personal Progress Halloween

It’s always fun to come up with a Personal Progress incentive around the holidays. While at the Dollar Store a couple weeks ago, I found these eyeball gum balls and thought they would make a great Personal Progress Halloween Treat. Halloween is on Monday, but these treats are simple to put together, and would be perfect to pass out this Sunday. I thought the eye gum balls were cute, and would make a great handout to encourage the YW to… Read more »

September Come Follow Me Lesson

My Young Women chapstick handout has been a popular post here on Little LDS Ideas. I created this handout to go along with the September ‘Come Follow Me’ lesson: “How Do the Things I Say Affect Me and Those Around Me”. It’s been 3 years since I first posted this ideas, so I thought it was time for a little update. I have seen this chapstick poem all over Pinterest. It has been used for Activity Days, YW Camp Pillow Treats, and now a YW lesson handout! I… Read more »

General Conference Quote Jar

A couple weeks ago I saw an idea for an ‘LDS General Conference Quote Jar’. I really liked the idea, and it was similar to another idea that I found a few years ago called ‘Conference Preserves’ that I shared about here. I LOVE the idea of writing/typing your favorite quotes and placing them in a jar to read over the next 6 months. Each day for the next six months, pull a quote from the jar and ponder what it teaches. Keep a journal… Read more »

February YW Personal Progress

This post may contain affiliate links. Thank you for your support! During the month of February everyone is thinking of LOVE….and candy (I hope I’m not the only one).  I had so much fun creating my Visiting Teaching idea this month, that I thought I would use the same idea for a great Personal Progress idea! AND since Valentine’s Day falls on Sunday this year, this would make an awesome Valentine to pass out to your YW. It’s yummy but it… Read more »

We are 3 weeks away from General Conference and I’m sure it will be here before you know it! I always enjoy General Conference weekend, and I especially love the Spirit that is felt in our home and the amazing talks that are heard. Each year I plan on trying my best to prepare myself and my family for General Conference, but most of the time I don’t get to plan for it as well as I’d like. A few weeks… Read more »

It’s back to school time…well, almost. Since it’s right around the corner I decided to create a few gift tags for Primary & YW. We need to remind our Primary teachers how much we appreciate all they do, and what better way than a cute little gift. While I was at Target the other day I saw some great packs of sticky notes in the $1 zone. I picked up a few…for myself…then thought they would also be great as… Read more »

A few months ago I shared this idea on Sugardoodle to celebrate the launch of her new website. But I never shared it on my blog, so today I am sharing my Personal Progress Jars idea with all of you. These jars would be a great gift to make for new Beehives or do this as a mutual activity. I did this as a mutual activity for the beehives and we had a great time.    Personal Progress Jars… Read more »

A few weeks ago as I was grocery shopping (down the candy aisle) I had an idea for a Personal Progress incentive.     Have you ever tried ‘Riesens’? If not, they are delicious…just saying. This incentive that I am sharing today shares different reasons why Personal Progress is important and why we need to do it. I began by (eating the first entire bag of Riesens) thinking of reasons why we should do personal progress. I decided to look… Read more »
