For the May Visit Teaching Printable I decided to do something a little different.
I was going to do a printable with several different quotes from Conference, but then I saw this wonderful idea from Mish Mash Mom
I don’t know about you, but I always feel so uplifted and spiritually fed and GOOD after listening to General Conference. And then life goes back to normal, and the wonderful words that I have heard slowly start to be forgotten.
And that’s where the wonderful idea of ‘Conference Preserves’ comes in….

Conference Preserves is a jar filled with quotes from General Conference, so that {in a way} you can ‘preserve’ all the wonderful words you have heard during Conference.
I thought what a great idea to have this jar full of quotes that you can pick from anytime you want or need to.
We are encouraged to read and re-read the conference talks, but sometimes our lives {ok…MY life} get a little hectic, and before we know it 6 months have passed and it’s time for yet another General Conference. So, I thought picking a quote from a jar is totally something I can handle.
And then after I read the wonderful quote, maybe it will help me to sit down and take 5 minutes to read the rest of the talk to see what other uplifting words I can find.
After I saw this idea I got to work and created my own little ‘Conference Preserve’ quotes.

Here’s just a peek at some of the cards. What do you think?
It was a bit time consuming, but I enjoyed making these quote cards so much. Plus I got to read each of the talks, so I could pick out some of my favorite quotes.
The leaders of our church truly amaze me! I love them and think they are some of the most amazing people.

Here is one of my favorite quotes from President Uchtdorf. It comes from his Priesthood Session talk titled “Four Titles”.
What a great reminder for those days that you are feeling really down on yourself. Even though President Uchtdorf was talking to the men, I loved it, and thought we could ALL really use his words in our lives.

I know any we could all use a Conference Preserves jar of our own. Keep it somewhere that you will see it often, so you will be reminded to pick from your ‘preserves’ often.
And don’t be selfish….:) Give a jar of preserves to the wonderful ladies in your life.
Just print out my Conference quotes and place them in a jar. Then add some extra little treats to the jar (like chocolate!).
Then dress up that jar and go visit your sisters.

I hope you enjoy these quotes and read from them often.
Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Wow, wow, wow! This is GREAT! And something that is hard to mail, so I have to actually visit (I am really bad and usually end up mailing letters instead of visiting). Thank you so very much for Sharing!!!!! I think I’ll make some tags like the sister from mish mash mom. Thanks again!!!

Thanks so much! I love this idea and you did such a great job making the quote cards so cute! I found some glossy photo paper at the dollar store and am printing them out right now and they really look fantastic! I also got some cute jars at the dollar store, so this will really be fun to give to my VT sisters this month (also to some other people I can think of) I really appreciate all of your hard work to make them.

I love your cards, I have been looking for something to take to one of the sisters I visit. She was recently diganosed with breast cancer. Her husband and sons are not active. She feels alone often and I am going to take her the quotes in a jar along with the Ensign of Confrence Talks. I am hoping this will lift her spirits and help her feel her Heavenly Fathers love for her. Thank you for doing sharing I don’t have your talent but I can share it. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you,
