I love the 4th of July. Growing up my family would invite friends and neighbors over for a BBQ and fireworks. I remember being snuggled up in blankets with my cousins ‘scoring’ the fireworks as the adults lit them one by one. I remember the excitement of holding a sparkler in my hand and waving it in the air. It’s such a special time of year, one that I now love to spend with family and friends.

Today I have some fun printables for your 4th of July celebrations, whether it be a quiet evening at home with your family OR one surrounded by friends and family.

4th Of July Printables

One thing that I love about our small Idaho town is the 4th Of July celebration. Every year we start the day off with a fun parade that goes right down Main St. Since our town is somewhat small, we don’t have to fight much of a crowd. 🙂 It’s something we look forward to every year. There is also a rodeo you can attend as well…although we usually don’t, my hubby isn’t much of a rodeo man.

The weeks following up to the 4th, people donate to the ‘Firework Fund’. One thing I LOVE about living here is the annual Firework show. We used to head down to the church and set up a spot to watch the show. The church has a large lawn that has a great view, but this year we are staying home and having a Fireworks party of our own. Last year was our first year in our home, and we found out that we have a great view of the fireworks! So this year we are going to invite friends and family over for a BBQ and some fireworks.

I decided to whip up an Invitation that I can use. And today I am sharing it on the blog!

Here is the blank invite that you can use:

Just right click on the above image and save it to your computer. Then open it in any program (Canva, Microsoft Word, Photoshop, etc.) to add your text. This is a JPG file, so you will be adding your text on top of the actual invite. I have some great tutorials that you can use to help you out:

If you have any questions or problems, feel free to send me an email. 🙂 And if you don’t want to bother adding in your info, private message me on my Etsy shop. I will add in your info and email it right over for a small fee of $1.50.

The fonts I used for my invite are: Phosphate Inline, Sortdecai Cursive, and Champagne & Limousines.

4th Of July Scavenger Hunt

To go along with my invite, I thought it would be fun to include a fun 4th of July Scavenger Hunt. This would be great to hand out to the children at your BBQ or to your family as you wait for the firework show.
