Hi, friend! It’s Chrissy from Teepee Girl and I am so glad that I get to share this free Mother’s Day Hugs & Kisess Printables with you!
Mother’s Day is a special holiday. But it can be super difficult for women who don’t have kids, or women who feel estranged from their children.
For years, Mother’s Day was my most dreaded holiday. Thanks to adoption and modern medicine, my husband and I now have three beautiful girls. But I will never forget the pain of our years of infertility, and the day I felt it most keenly was Mother’s Day. I dreaded getting up, I dreaded church, and I hated that I cried when the youth tried to hand me a candy bar or a rose at church. Bah. It happened every.single.year.
But as time has healed that pain, I see that Mother’s Day is a really great day! It’s a day to celebrate women, and how much impact great women have in the lives of those around them. (By the way, I have long felt that Mother’s Day should be renamed “Women’s Day.” Because it’s less about motherhood, and more about mothering, which I think women do naturally.)
With that in mind, I wanted to create a cute printable that you could give to ANY woman, that would gladden her heart and hopefully help her feel loved and appreciated. Of course, chocolate is a must. Because, really. Nothing says “you’re amazing” like chocolate.
So these little printables are perfect on a little bag of chocolate hugs and kisses. And the printable is great for any amazing woman. It simply tells the truth: they deserve lots of hugs and kisses. 🙂
This makes a cute and easy gift for your primary kids to give to their moms on Mother’s Day.
I am going to be giving these to my nursery kiddos, and then let them give it to their moms on Mother’s Day. It’s so fun to see how excited kids get when they get to give their moms a little gift!
It’s also great for neighbors, friends, co-workers…any woman who you want to show a little love.
Sheena and I hope that you can use this simple, cute, and fun Mother’s Day Hugs & Kisess Printables for primary, visiting teaching, or just for fun. And don’t forget: you’re amazing too, so feel free to help yourself to some of that chocolate. 😉
Leave a comment and let us know what you think! We love to hear from you.
