Have you heard about the amazing new Nathan Pacheco cd, “Higher”? I had the opportunity to receive the CD from Deseret Book, and am loving it! If you enjoy listening to uplifting music, then you will love this CD.

Nathan Pacheco

“Higher” is a collection of Nathan Pacheco’s favorite songs that connect with those spiritual moments from his performances across the world. These songs will take you on a beautiful journey with classic hymns such as Be Thou My Vision and Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing, soaring Italian epics like Nella Fantasia, and modern classics such as Forever (one of my favorites) by Kari Jobe. Performing with intimate acoustic backing and often featuring piano and cello, Nathan’s desire with this album was to help people reach higher, to feel deeper spiritual connection, and to find peace through songs that lift the soul.

Nathan Pacheco is a classically trained tenor who has a passion for reaching out and uplifting people through music. There is so much music out there today that doesn’t lift and inspire you as a listener, but the songs on this album were created to do exactly that.

Are you going to do anymore visiting teaching handouts? I really miss them and it seems like they’re getting later and later in the month when you publish them. I like to do my visiting Week of the month. I really like your ideas for handouts.

Hi Detta. I apologize that I haven’t posted a Visiting Teaching this month, but I plan to. In a perfect world I would have all of my ideas posted weeks in advance, but I’m only one person, and I try to do what I can. On top of my blog, I am a Mother, a wife, a Primary Teacher, and a student (I am doing the Pathway program through the church)…just to name a few things. I do my best to help others by posting my ideas as early as possible, but some months just don’t happen like I wish. I am so glad that you like my ideas and handouts, please don’t give up on me. 🙂 I finally had an idea for this month, so I am hoping to have it posted in the next couple of days. Thanks!

Sheena, I think you are great. I also love your VT handouts, but I certainly think your platew isa overflowing so you need not feel any guilt for not posting one. I loved you Christmas ideas for service and used them. If I forgot to thank you then, Thanks a ton.
