The Holy Ghost is the Third Member of the Godhead.
A few weeks ago, I received an email from a wonderful woman named Sandie Jeserick. Sandie lives in Pleasant Grove, UT; and she has been nice enough to share her Sharing Time idea with all of us.
Sandie’s idea is to get a picture of each member of the Godhead: Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. Then have different characteristics/clues of each member written on pieces of paper. The children will have to match each characteristic with the member of the Godhead it goes to.
Sandie was kind enough to include the characteristics she will be using. She has typed them up and they have a sentence clue and they also include a scripture that the children can look up.
Sandie also included a few Holy Ghost puzzles that you could give to the children. The children can make a booklet (she found instructions on making a booklet at Mormonshare
, click to go to the link.) or have them take them home and encourage them to have a Family Home Evening on the Holy Ghost.Click Here to view the Holy Ghost Color by Number PuzzleClick Here to view the Holy Ghost Crossword PuzzleClick Here to view the Holy Ghost Maze Puzzle
Sandie also included a bunch of imformation on the Holy Ghost that she found on LDS.org:
to read some great information that you could use on the Holy Ghost
to read an article from the Feb. 1995 Friend, given by Gordon B. Hinckley on the Holy Ghost.
to view a Sharing Time from the Feb. 1995 Friend that is on the Godhead. (Sandie uses the puzzle from this Sharing Time in the Holy Ghost booklet that the children will make.)
to read a talk given by Marion G. Romney on the Holy Ghost; from the May 1974 Ensign
Sandie, I just want to thank you again for all the work that you did to make this great Sharing Time idea.
