Alright, so I really love the idea that they have in the outline. But since 2 weeks are sharing this one topic I decided to come up with a few different ideas.
I really liked the idea of having the children memorize the scripture, so I have included that in my Sharing Time idea. It is always great to have different things for the children to do, it helps keep their attention.
I have also included 4 different games that you can play. These games will help teach the children about the Ten Commandments/Gospel Standards. There are 2 that would work great for Jr. Primary and the other 2 would work better for Sr. Primary.
The games are:
I think these games will be alot of fun, and will also teach the children the importance of obeying the commandments.
**UPDATE** I had to share the great idea that a wonderful woman left as a comment (I don’t have your name, let me know so I can give you credit 🙂 ). Here is what she said:
Your Commandment Scavenger hunt has completely inspired me! Thank you, thank you! 🙂 I’m going to use your picture idea with each scripture reference and place each picture on different classroom doors, as we read the scriptures, we’ll find the matching picture on the coordinating door and we’ll follow the rooms until we reach the last room where they’ll be a treasure box with gold chocolate coins attached to a note about TREASURING the commandments and showing love for Jesus Christ!
Isn’t that a great idea? Thanks again for sharing your wonderful idea.

I live in a little branch with a tiny primary where I do primary by myself most of the time. I like to end with a game to reenforce what was taught in the lesson. Thank you for the game ideas! I appreciate you sharing your ideas.
