Pick Me Up Treat Tags for Relief Society & Young Women Groups | LDS Printables | Friendshipping Tags | Free Printable

Hello! It’s Marissa from Prickly Pear Design Co.  and I’m excited to be sharing these cute little Pick Me Up Treat Tags with you today!  A few weeks ago, I got called to be the Compassionate Service Leader. When I heard those words, I automatically thought “babies, surgeries, funerals…” but compassionate service is so much more than that.

Compassionate service is a chance not only to help out in times of need, but to uplift. And as I thought about how I might serve the sisters in my ward, I realized that we’re all in need of that uplifting.

So I gave myself a challenge. I wanted to have a few ideas on hand that I could easily put together for sisters that might appreciate a little bit of love and uplifting. What I came up with is cute, cost effective and completely perfect for Compassionate Service Leaders, Visiting Teachers, Young Women Leaders, and anyone that wants to spread a little love to a friend. So I’m sharing all three ideas here today and hope that you can put them to use!

Life Gets Sweeter Treat Tag

This is perfect to use as a quick Visiting Teaching drop off for those months when life gets busy or as a challenge for you to take on together. It seems like when life gets tough, and sometimes even when it’s not, we forget to be grateful. Pair that with a drink they can sip while they write down what they’re grateful for and things are bound to start looking up.To keep it cost effective: Check the dollar bins at Target for cute pens, ribbon, and notebooks. Buy drinks in bulk rather than single cans. (The steno pad and pen shown above totaled out just over a $1!)

You Are One Tough Cookie Treat Tag

It’s true that something sweet makes tough times a little bit more bearable. These might come in handy as a reminder for Young Women who seem to be struggling or for Relief Society Sisters who have had surgery, sick kids, etc. To save time: pick up pre-made cookie dough or even cookies from the local bakery. As I put these together, I kept thinking “I would have loved this during my last trimester” and I’d bet the sisters expecting babies in your ward would agree!

He Loves You {And We Do Too!} Treat Tag

Spiritual pep talk. Who doesn’t need one of those from time to time right? Even if you’re not feeling down, knowing that someone is cheering for you sends good vibes all over the place. This tag references 1 Nephi 11:17 and God’s love for us. I especially like the fact that when the angel asks Nephi about the condescension of God he replies:

“I know that he loveth his children; nevertheless, I do not know the meaning of all things.”

It doesn’t matter if you know it all or not, God loves you. And that’s plenty to go on. I paired this tag with flowers. To keep it cost effective: Buy a big bunch of inexpensive blooms from the grocery store, then split the bunch into 4-5 smaller bunches. Tissue paper and twine from the dollar store completed the look and I used my scissors to scallop the edge of the tissue before I pulled the sheets apart.
