I’ve been a little ‘lacking’ on my Visiting Teaching printables…I apologize. But I have one for you today!
This month’s message focuses on Forgiveness and is full of wonderful quotes and scriptures. I was going to put together an object lesson and gift you could give to your sisters, but then I decided to just create a printable for you to print out. Here’s what this month’s printable looks like:
What do you think?
The other idea I had, was to paint a small rock to give to my sisters. I thought of painting a heart or the word ‘FORGIVE’ onto the rock.
I was then going tell my sisters that as she looks at this rock to think of forgiveness. In our lives there may be times where it is hard to forgive…
When someone has offended us.
When somebody hurt us in some way.
Those grudges/burdens are like the rock. When we refuse to forgive others, we carry around a weight that keeps us from traveling the straight and narrow path our Father in Heaven wants for us. The more we choose not to forgive…the more rocks we carry around. Eventually we won’t be able to carry anymore. It is important to forgive others so that we can enjoy the companionship of the Holy Spirit and grow spiritually. As President Uchtdorf said:
“Allow Christ’s Atonement to change and heal your heart. Love one another. Forgive one another.”
I hope you enjoy this month’s printable.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!
