I LOVE this month’s message, and it’s something that I work on every.single.day!

When I read this month’s message, I decided to take a look at the talk that the quote from President Monson came from:

“Charity is having patience with someone who has let us down,” said PresidentThomas S. Monson. “It is resisting the impulse to become offended easily. It is accepting weaknesses and shortcomings. It is accepting people as they truly are. It is looking beyond physical appearances to attributes that will not dim through time. It is resisting the impulse to categorize others.”

Great quote from an amazing man!

When I read the talk, I realized it’s the talk where shared a story about a woman who was so annoyed with her neighbor because the neighbor didn’t know how to clean her laundry. The woman later found out, from her husband, that it wasn’t the neighbor’s laundry at all…it was her dirty windows!

Here’s the cute Mormon Message:

I love that story and video! So, for this month’s message I thought it would be cute to give your Visiting Teacher sisters a cute little paper t-shirt with a quote on it. I love how my little shirts turned out!

To go along with your little shirt printable, you could add a cute clothespin (or 2), or even a dish towel to help your VT sisters keep those windows clean. 🙂

To go along with the t-shirt printable, I also created a handout that includes another quote, the scripture references from the message, and the ‘Consider This’ question. Here’s what the handout looks like:

When you visit your sisters you could show them the Mormon Message or share the story with them. Then give them their own little shirt.

Wonderful! I just love these ideas and printed them out to use. My only problem is that they print kind of light. I did the best print button but they are still light. Wish I could click a “bold” button. Think it might be my equipment? Anyways, light or not, I’m giving them out. Love you.

Thanks, Dottie! So glad to hear that you like them. But I’m not sure why they’re printing so light for you. I’m thinking it might be your printer. I will try emailing you the file and see if that helps at all. It’s always good to know that dear friends read my blog. 🙂
