February 2018 LDS Visiting Teaching Hugs and Kisses

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted a Visiting Teaching printable, sorry! As you know this year the Visiting Teaching messages have changed, but I still would like to share an idea and/or printable that you could deliver to the wonderful sisters you visit. This month’s idea is a fun Valentine printable that would be perfect to take to the sisters you visit.

This month’s “Consider This” question in the visiting teaching message was: “Within the families of the sisters you visit, what upcoming events should you be aware of and remember?” I thought that Valentine’s Day was a great upcoming event and would be fun to send your sisters some “Hugs and Kisses”.

LDS Visiting Teaching Hugs and Kisses

To put your LDS Visiting Teaching Hugs and Kisses Valentine idea together you will need (some of those links below are Amazon Affiliate links):

Chocolate Kiss candies

White Labels/Sticker Paper

String

a 3/4″ circle paper punch

cute container (jar, bag, box, etc.

You will also need other supplies like: a paper cutter or scissors and a hole punch.

First, you will need to purchase some chocolate kiss candies. Then click the link at the bottom of this post to download/print my LDS Visiting Teaching Hugs and Kisses printables. There is a page of candy labels and a page of tags that you can attach to the container of your choice.

I highly recommend printing the candy labels onto white sticker paper/labels to make applying the labels much easier. When the labels are printed, grab your 3/4″ punch and start punching out each label. After the labels are punched out place them onto each candy. You can even do what I did and have your kids help stick all the labels onto each candy. Believe me, they will want to help because it includes chocolate. 😉

Another Option for Cutting

I own a Silhouette machine (<–That’s another affiliate link) and love it! If you have a Silhouette you can use it to cut out the stickers for you. First, download my file and then open the PDF into the Silhouette software. Next you will need to trace the file. I did this today and found that I needed to draw new circles around the last two rows, but it didn’t take long. When it’s ready to go, add your registration marks, print, and then put it back in and have the Silhouette cut! Easy peasy.

After sticking all the labels onto your candies (and eating a few), it’s time to put them into a cute container and add your tag. You could place the candies into a jar, a cute box, or a simple clear cellophane bag. Wrap the container with some cute ribbon or twine and then add my “Sending You Hugs and Kisses” tag.

I don’t have an actual LDS quote printable to share with you this month, but you can find some beautiful LDS quote printables over on TeePee Girl or Love Pray Teach, to pair with this yummy candy treat
