It’s August! That means summer is slowly coming to an end, school will be starting soon, and it also means a new Visiting Teaching message. 🙂

When I first read this month’s message I had a few ideas. I thought of attaching this quote:

“As we work to develop this attribute, we will find that “humbly submitting our will to the Father brings us the empowerment of God—the power of humility. It is the power to meet life’s adversities, the power of peace, the power of hope, the power of a heart throbbing with a love for and testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ, even the power of redemption.”

…to a bottle of Powerade…or a Power bar…anything ‘power’-ish. Cute, huh? Maybe I’ll try to make a cute little tag to do that, but that’s not what I’m sharing today.

I also thought that it would be cute to give the sisters a bottle of nail polish or some other type of ‘foot’ item, since the ‘From the Scriptures’ portion of the message talks about Christ washing the feet of his disciples…but nope, I didn’t do that either.

.After a crazy week in Utah (visiting family), I decided to do a cute, yet simple, handout that you can give to your sisters.

Here’s what it looks like:

I really like how it turned out…what do you think?

I have 2 different size options for this month’s message. One file fits 2 messages to a page and each handout measures approx. 5 X 7.5″

The other option fits 4 per page and each handout measures approx. 3 X 5.25″

Just click the link(s) below to print yours out.

I hope you enjoy my VT message for August. I would love to hear what you think and if you use them for your sisters. Just leave me a comment letting me know. 🙂

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day!

Thank you for yet another fabulously designed vt message. These are going out to our entire relief society in a Henderson singles ward and are much appreciated! I hope you keep doing designs monthly! You’ve become my go to!!

    See you in September!

I want to thank you for sharing your work! I have amazing ideas, but I don’t have the time or the talents to see it manifest into something of such quality. Your handout for August’s VT message just made my day so much easier. It is beautiful and summarizes the lesson perfectly.
    Thank you!

Thank you for this darling printable. It’s really nice to have a little something to give to our sisters who would rather not have a visit. And it’s super cute, so I kept one for myself. Thanks again! I will definitely be checking back for the next one.
