Sharing Time Idea from 2012 Primary Outline
IDENTIFY THE DOCTRINE (seeing a picture): Show the children a picture of Jesus Christ instituting the sacrament.  Explain that Christ gave the sacrament to His Apostles and to His disciples in the Book of Mormon, and He asked them to continue to bless and pass the sacrament when He was gone.  Read together 3 Nephi 18:5-6.  Ask the children questions such as:
Who blesses the sacrament in our day?  

Who passes the sacrament?  
What power does a person need to hold to bless and pass the sacrament?

ENCOURAGE UNDERSTANDING (discussing the doctrine): Explain that the priesthood is God’s power to serve and bless people on earth.  In the latter days Christ has taught us that any man can have the priesthood as long as he meets two requirements.  The first is to be a certain age.  Ask the children to stand when they hear you say the age when a boy can receive the priesthood.  Count up slowly from one to twelve.  Tell the children that the other requirement is that the boy must be worthy.  Explain what it means to be worthy, and explain that both boys and girls can us “My Gospel Standards” to help them know how to live worthily.

ENCOURAGE APPLICATION (participating in a physical activity): Divide the children into groups.  Assign one standard from “My Gospel Standards” to each group.  Ask each group to think of a simple action that represents their standard.  Call out a few words to identify a standard, and have the assigned group stand and show their action.  Continue until all of the groups have had a turn.  Explain that living these standards helps boys remain worthy to hold the priesthood and receive priesthood ordinances and girls remain worthy to receive priesthood ordinances, such as baptism and temple ordinances.

Sharing Time Ideas from Little LDS Ideas
I like the idea from the outline, but I had an idea that you could use for the ‘Encourage Application’. Here it is:
In 2011 I shared a game idea called ‘Charad-a-Boodle’. It’s a combo of Charads, Taboo, and Win, Lose, or Draw.

I thought this week’s idea would be perfect for this game.
Since this week’s focus is on My Gospel Standards I thought it would be fun to pick a main word out of each standard and have the children either: act it out, guess the word (taboo) or draw the word/picture (doodle).
**I have created cards for my Charad-a-Boodle game.**
Charades: I think everyone knows how to play Charades. The children will receive a word that they must act out without talking. The children must guess what the word is.
Taboo:  isa game where the children will have to guess a certain word. On each card is a word, the child will need to give clues to the other children to help them guess the word. But they can’t say the ‘buzz words’. The buzz words are found on the bottom of the card. The child cannot say any of the buzz words or else they will be buzzed (lose their turn), and their team won’t score a point for that round.
On my Taboo cards there are some that say ‘Teacher Play’. When one of these cards are chosen the child can choose a teacher he/she would like to play in his/her place.
I also included a few blank taboo cards that you can print out and use.
Drawing (doodle): This game is also easy. Just give/show the child the standard or word and have them draw clues until the children guess what it is. They cannot draw letters or numbers.
How to Play:
You could play this in teams or as a whole Primary.
Choose a child to come to the front and have him/her pick a card (Charade, Taboo, or Doodle). Have them read the card and then give them 1-2 minutes to act, taboo, or draw their word.
The other children will need to guess the word by the clues that are given.
If no one has guessed before time is up no points are rewarded or you can give the other team a chance to guess (if you play in teams).
After the word is guessed ask the children what standard it is. Then discuss that Gospel Standard and its importance.
 Explain that living these standards helps boys remain worthy to hold the priesthood and receive priesthood ordinances and girls remain worthy to receive priesthood ordinances, such as baptism and temple ordinances.

Jr. Primary Ideas
You can use my Charad-a-Boodle idea if you like, but if you think it’s too difficult for Jr. Primary then here’s another idea you could use.
Gospel Standards Grab Bag
I had an idea of having a large picture of a boy dressed in church clothes and possibly holding a Sacrament tray. But if you can’t find a picture of a boy holding a Sacrament tray then just use a picture of a boy.
You will need several objects/pictures that represent each of the gospel standards, and several other pictures/objects that do NOT represent standards (being unkind, immodesty, etc.)
Have the objects in a bucket/container. Invite a child to the front and have them pick an object. They will then decide if that is something that will help the ‘boy’ be worthy to receive the Priesthood. If it is something good have them attach it to the ‘boy’ picture. If it is bad, have them throw it away.
Standards Match
I also thought another great game to play would be ‘Memory’. Just have different standards (picture to represent each) on some cards. Making sure you have 2 of each standard. Have the cards turned over and have the children turn 2 over at a time trying to find a match. Once a match is found discuss that Standard.
I saw a great idea over at Sofia’s Primary Place that would be great for Standards Match.
