You now those callings that when you hear them you think
“What!?! Are you serious? I’m only one woman. How is that even possible?”
And then you go into shock for the next few days?
Yep….there’s probably a few of those.
I’m pretty sure all of you who have been called as Young Women’s Camp Leaders have felt that way. Or maybe you’re excited until you realize everything that goes into planning and preparing…then reality hits you.
I have not yet had the opportunity to serve as a Camp Leader {but I’m sure my time will come}. The last time I went to Girls Camp was when I was still at home in High School.
So, needless to say, if I was called as a Camp Director {is that what they even call it anymore} I would be a nervous wreck!
Maybe some of you reading this right now have already been called and you’ve been stressed, had sleepless nights, and cried your eyes out.
If this is you then you’re in luck! Because today I would like to introduce all of you to Stephanie Worlton, the amazing woman behind….
“Everything You Need to Know About Girls Camp”
I haven’t read the entire book yet, but I’ve read quite a bit, and let me just say WOW!
