We have a couple weeks before summer break, but I know some of you might already be enjoying your summer break! A month or so ago I asked some of my good friends if they’d be interested in putting together a ‘Summer Fun’ kit. They all jumped on board, so we got busy creating. I am so excited to share this amazing Summer Fun Kit with all of you today!
Here is what is included in our Summer Fun Kit printable pack:
Summer Schedule (8 pages total with different versions to choose from), a Summer Checklist (one filled out for you to use OR a blank one to fill out with your family), Summer BINGO sheets (pictured above), Popsicle Chore Stick Labels plus a Weekly Chore Calendar, Summer Reward Cards, Don’t Eat Pete game, Summer Journal sheets and journal craft idea (this is an adorable brown paper bag journal that your kids will LOVE!), Would You Rather’ Summer Edition cards (there are 40 cards + 10 blank cards), a cute Reading Punch Card plus a fun ‘Quench Your Thirst’ bookmark, and a Park and Beach Scavenger Hunt Sheet.
And that’s not even including the FREEBIES that we have made to include in this kit! But before we get into the FREEBIES, here is a closer look at some of the printables included in the kit.
‘Summer Fun Kit’ Printable Pack
Here’s a peek at some of the items included in this enormous printable pack. Does anyone else have a hard time keeping their children busy during the summer? I do! Do you ever hear the words, “Mom, I’m Bored!”. This kit will definitely solve both of those problems!
As I was working on some of the printables for the kit, I would show my children and get their opinions. I showed my daughter the ‘Summer Fun Checklist’ and asked what she thought.
She got the biggest smile on her face and asked me, “Are we going to do all of these!?!” Looks like we will be pretty busy this summer. 🙂
One thing that we have a hard time with during the summer is creating and sticking to a summer schedule. Alia, from Party Like a Cherry has created some amazing summer schedules to help out with that!
Post your schedule on the fridge or somewhere everyone can see. She has even included several versions to choose from, including a blank one to create your very own schedule.
We decided to test out the Summer BINGO sheets the other night that Chrissy from The Teepee Girl created for the kit. My girls had so much fun, they didn’t want to stop! We grabbed a handful of M&M’s to use as markers, and played several rounds. I’m sure we will have many games of BINGO this summer.
These would be great to take in the car, to the park, or to the beach. And to help it last longer, laminate it!
Another fun activity that my children enjoy, is playing ‘Would You Rather’. We stayed up late one night because my children kept wanting me to ask them one more question!
I racked my brain coming up with these fun summer themed ‘Would You Rather’ questions. Once I started I couldn’t stop! Print and cut them out, then sit down and take turns answering these fun and silly questions.
To keep track of all your fun summer memories, why not make a fun summer journal! Aimee from The Apricot Tree created these adorable journal sheets, and shares how to make these amazing brown paper bag journals.
How cute is this journal!?! I am loving it! And I know my children, especially my girls, will absolutely LOVE making this!
Summer Fun Kit Printable Pack
There is so much more included in the kit that I didn’t talk about here on the blog, but you can head on over to my Etsy shop, Lala Lee Lou Designs or Chrissy’s Etsy Shop, Teepee Girl Designs, to read more about it and to buy it.
As I said before, there’s freebies! We love all of our readers, and couldn’t create this fun kit without including some freebies. All the freebies are included in the kit in my Etsy shop, but you can also grab the freebies on each of our sites. Just click each of the links below to snag the freebies!
