Does anyone else have a hard time getting the family together each week for Family Home Evening? Life gets busy, I totally understand. But it’s important to take the time to have this time with our families to teach them and to spend time with them.
Last month, Emilie of A Year of FHE asked me if I’d be interested in a monthly blog swap. I LOVE Emilie and her wonderful blog, so of course I said YES! Before we get into Emilie’s lesson, I’d like to introduce her to you.
Emilie blogs over at ‘A Year of FHE’ where she shares lesson plans, printables and more to help make LDS life a little bit easier. Emilie started her blog back in 2010 after realizing she needed to do something about FHE in her home. After making a plan…then sharing it with friends…and more friends…her blog was born. You can read all about her journey and her blog, HERE!
OUR BODIES ARE SACRED
This month (June 2016) the Primary children will be learning about Temples. Since they’ll be learning all ABOUT them, I thought it would be a great idea to have an FHE about preparing to ENTER them. 🙂
Emilie has you covered! Just hop on over to her blog to view and download this FHE lesson. She includes a scripture, song, lesson, printables, and activities. In this lesson you will be discussing how to keep our bodies clean and pure inside and out. Emilie has some great activities to keep your children busy as you teach them. And if your children are like mine…have them help you prepare and teach the lesson. That would be a great for Faith in God or Personal Progress.
*If you want to PIN THIS be sure to click through to the Little LDS Ideas blog and pin it from there!*

I hope you enjoy Emilie’s FHE idea, and are able to use it in your home. What lesson would you like to see shared on here? Let me know by leaving a comment.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!
