How many of you have children that love to play games? My children love it, and are always wanting me to play with them. Today I am sharing a fun Summer Tic-Tac-Toe game that you can print and use over and over again. I created this game as part of the Summer Fun Kit that I posted about on Monday. If you missed it, you can read all about it, HERE.
Tic-Tac-Toe is a simple game, but it’s one that children love to play. I decided to create one with a fun summer theme. There is one game board and 4 different type of game pieces: Fish, Starfish, Flip Flops, and Beach Balls.
Would your children love their very own Summer Tic-Tac-Toe game? Here’s what you will need:
First, download and print my Summer Tic-Tac-Toe game printable. I would recommend printing onto cardstock, but plain paper works too! Once you have it printed, cut out the game pieces. A great way to help the game last longer is to laminate the board and the game pieces! Laminating it would even help it withstand wet hands that decide to play after they have ran through the sprinkler or played in the pool. 🙂 This would be a great game to keep in your car, in your church bag, etc. and pull it out when the kids need something fun to do.
I have a space at the bottom of the game board to keep track of the score. Just add tally marks for each win. And if you laminate your game, use a dry erase marker.
To keep the game all together, place it in a large ziplock bag or a large envelope.
Have each player choose a game piece that they would like to use. Have the first person place one of their markers onto the game board. Then have the other team place one of their game pieces. The first player to get 3 in a row WINS!
I hope you enjoy my Summer Tic-Tac-Toe game! Feel free to print as many copies as you’d like. I would love to hear if you play my Tic-Tac-Toe game, and what you think, so leave me a comment.
And don’t forget to check out our ENORMOUS 40+ page Summer Fun Kit!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day.
